My friend, Sandy, and I took the kids to the Cincinnati Zoo yesterday. It was lots of fun, although ridiculously hot! Sandy has a 2 person Radio Flyer Wagon with a canopy, so we put Caroline and her son, Nate, in the wagon and toured around the zoo. The wagon seems to be a must, especially if you have more than one child. The kids LOVED looking at each other and were quite content the entire day. Caroline has been to the zoo a number of times, since we have a pass, but yesterday she seemed much more interested in the animals. There is a also a petting zoo with farm animals. Caroline had zero fear in touching the goats and getting up close and personal with a cow! She is quite the adventurer, which of course makes me happy! We also went on the train, which Caroline LOVES! She was jumping up and down in her seat and waving at everyone! I just LOVE how social she is. Nate had not been on the train before and he really enjoyed it as well! He smiled the entire time and managed to keep a pair of sunglasses on too! Here are a few pictures of our fun-filled day!
