Since Caroline had such a wonderful birthday party on Saturday, we didn't really have much planned for her actual birthday, which was yesterday. When Matthew got home from work, the three of us went for Caroline's first full meal at McDonald's. She got a hamburger happy meal. And she ate a bit of it and threw A LOT of it on the floor! She did enjoy the toy that came with it! Afterwards we went to Aglamesis Bros. Ice Cream for some ice cream and malts. She seemed to really enjoy the nectar and chocolate malts much more than her McDonald's! We met Matt's brother and his wife there for ice cream and sat in the middle of Oakley Square for a while. Caroline proceeded to take a few steps! Yes, that's right! Any day now and we're going to have a full fledged walker! She has taken three steps quite a few times the past few days, but that's as far as she's gone... And she LOVES to stand all by herself. My how our little baby girl has grown!
