Last night we had our bi-monthly Finneytown reunion, which consists of some of my friends from high school and their parents. We went to Mt. Adams Bar & Grill for dinner, then the "adults," our parents, went to the Blind Lemon for drinks, while the "kids," my friends and I, went home. My how times have changed. The "kids" used to stay out till the middle of the night, while our parents were fast asleep in bed or sitting on the couch eagerly waiting for us to get home for the night! Now, with so many of our friends being married with kids, the tables have turned.
It truly is a blessing to get together with our friends and their parents. My graduating class and our parents have ALWAYS been close and it amazes me that over ten years have passed since we graduated from high school and we still continue to have that connection and bond!
