I have a work conference this week in Alexandria, Virginia, therefore, Matthew will be on his own with Miss Caroline. He has had one overnight adventure alone with the peanut when she was 12 months old, but never a week long adventure; and certainly not on a week night while he's had to work and she's been in daycare. He is up for the challenge and I am sure he will do just fine.
I will certainly miss my family, but I am sure I will learn a lot at the conference and look forward to getting to know some of my coworkers across the country! Not to mention...my OWN hotel bed! You can't beat that!
